This week I am sharing chocolate dessert recipes every day until Saturday, Valentine’s Day. The chocolate fritter recipe I am sharing is selected from the cookbook, “The Gift of Southern Cooking” by Edna Lewis and Scott Peacock. Edna is from Virginia and Scott is from Alabama and they have worked together to publish this cookbook that includes many wonderful Southern dishes.
I did not include the recipe for the homemade baking powder that is referred to in the recipe and I am sure you could use store bought baking powder.
